Vanishing Aurora and planets
While not the most intense display of northern lights, this one was unique in that it marked the end of the aurora viewing season in Alaska, when the nights are no longer dark enough to see the aurora due to the lengthening days. It's also unique in that five planets are visible: Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus

75 to 115 miles northeast of Anchorage, Alaska. Nov.06
